Author: Krystle

Fancy meeting you here! My name is Krystle and I'm a mom (hi, Krystle - sorry, bad joke!) I have two beautiful little girls who I adore. I also have a husband who is funny and loves us all fiercely. I have a Masters in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing, which is what I do full time for work when I'm not with my family. Recently I had been dwelling in the world of minimalism. Seeking to settle the chaos I always felt with not having enough room in my closet, or having too many random things on my desk, or too many tasks to accomplish, I decided that I wanted something more simple. There are many books, blogs, podcasts, courses about minimalism, being a working mom, being a stay at home mom, organizing, living simple, etc. So seeking to keep up with everything I was learning and finding a place to document it, I decided to start this site. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have putting it all together!

The Seven Dimensions of Minimalism

Truth be told, I think there may be more like 10 dimensions, but most things come in fives or sevens, like Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, the Five Major Food Groups,…

My Shopping Ban Was a Test Run

How to Creatively Use Everything That is About to Go Bad

Well, that’s a long title, isn’t it! This past Sunday was Cinco de Mayo, which showed up fast and furious! I usually plan out my menu for the week, Sunday-Saturday,…

Bootleg Chicken Pot Pie

I love recipes that are easy. This one reuses dinner from the previous night – rotisserie chicken!!! So, if you buy a rotisserie chicken and have a smaller family like…

Marinara Chicken and Israeli Couscous

Now that I am trying to be somewhat minimal in all factions, this includes things like using ingredients I already have to make meals. My daughter, like most 3-year-olds, is…
